Larry Kingsbury

Larry recently joined CapRock Group after more than twenty years in hospitality and mixed use retail development, marketing, and consulting work. His broad based experience throughout much of the United States and his extensive contacts and knowledge in the industry, brings a welcome addition to our team.

Larry has past direct corporate hospitality development experience with Accor, La Quinta Inns, and Marriott International, along with his work on specific project and consultancy assignments with Hilton Hotels and Choice Hotels International. He previously worked as an associate with NAI Huff Partners in Ft. Worth. His project experiences include mid-scale suburban projects, mixed use retail with hospitality, and central business district high rise development and acquisition/conversions. He has served as the lead developer or corporate point person on development projects in 36 states. “My passion is hotels and developments that need hotels to complement a mix of other components. I greatly enjoy projects in markets with high barriers to entry, so the difficult jobs are what I cut my teeth on,” says Larry.

Larry is a member of The International Council of Shopping Centers; member of The North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors; founder of The Business Identity Council of America; a former Director of the Coppell Chamber of Commerce; and past member of the City of Coppell Economic Development Committee. He remains involved with the Coppell Chamber of Commerce and volunteer work for the City of Coppell 2030 Plan.

Larry earned his Bachelor of Journalism degree from The University of Texas at Austin and is a Life Member of the Texas Ex-Students Association.
